Social Media: Energy Over Algorithms
We spend so much time trying to figure out the algorithm. The best time to post. The right format. The perfect hook.
And yes, those things matter. Strategy matters. I believe in it.
But I think we sometimes miss something bigger.
People are not engaging with perfectly optimized content. They are engaging with real life.
The posts that resonate most are rarely the most engineered. They are the ones that feel honest. Celebrating a win. Sharing a challenge. Highlighting an opportunity. Offering a perspective that actually means something.
That is energy. And energy is hard to fake.
When something is grounded in real experience and real conviction, it lands differently. It feels human. Algorithms reward engagement. Engagement is driven by emotion. Emotion comes from authenticity.
In that sense, energy influences the metrics we are all watching.
Strategy should amplify what is real, not replace it.
Over time, showcasing who you actually are will always outperform trying to manufacture what you think will perform.
Build your presence around what is true. Let the algorithm respond to that.
